Appleseed is an anime film, directed by Shinji Aramaki and originally released in Japan on May 17, 2004. It is based on the characters created by Masamune Shirow in the original Appleseed manga series that was published in 1985. Although it shares some characters with the original series, this film's storyline is not connected to it.

Set in 2131 AD, Appleseed stars Deunan Knute, a young, legendary female soldier and a survivor of the Third World War, which brought Earth to the brink of destruction. Alongside her former lover and comrade Briareos, who is now a cyborg, Deunan is brought to a Utopian city called Olympus, also inhabited by a genetically-engineered species called Bioroids. There, she integrates into the prestigious ESWAT organization to serve as the city's guardian. But what she discovers is not the promised land of peace, but rather a deadlier, more elusive battlefield than before.

Bioroids have a lifespan much shorter than those of humans, due to the suppression of their reproductive capabilities. When the facilities that were used in the Bioroid's life extension processes are destroyed by a secret faction of the Olympus Regular Army in a terrorist attack as part of its demonstration of fear and hatred for the Bioroids, a crisis which requires immediate resolution is formed, and the Appleseed data is revealed to still exist, even though most thought it destroyed.

Under the surface, as we can see, Olympus is plagued by conflicting factions. Some believe that Bioroids are a threat to the future advancement of mankind, whilst others believe that humans themselves are the threat. The ultimate question is over everyone's right to life, and whether or not one group deserves life more than the other. At the center of this battle is Appleseed, the data that is able to extend Bioroid life, by restoring reproductive functions.

The story goes to a flashback 3 days ago, when Blackbeard notices the new bounties of the Strawhat crew. He was about to depart Banaro Island in search of Luffy. Just at that specific moment, Ace reaches Blackbeard, despite Shank's efforts to avoid it. Blackbeard shows no fear and offers Ace to join his crew and beat the Strawhats, but Ace declines the offer, telling him that Luffy is his brother. Van Auger and Jesus Burguess attack Ace unexpectedly, but Blackbeard calls them off, as they are no match for him. Then Blackbeard reveals the cause of the homicide he comitted while he was in Whitebeard's crew: The Yami Yami no Mi(Dark Dark Fruit). Blackbeard destroys the entire town and he fights Ace showing him that he can nullify Devil's Fruits' Powers, causing him physical damage. In the end, Ace makes a struggle creating a Giant Fireball which crashed on a Giant Mass of Darkness made by Blackbeard, resulting in an unknown end, while Ace´s hat lays on the floor.

I'm no MPAA. I'm not sure whether to tag this series 18+ or not. Just don't try what you see on these videos at home. Oh.. The spell "Pipiru piru piru pipiru pi" doesn't actually work. Tried it complete with the pose and body twirl. I'm probably not cute enough to pull it off. The lesson learnt is don't even think of whacking anyone with a giant spiky club until you master the spell.

Each video consists of two episodes since one episode is only about 15 minutes long. Season 2 has just been released. I've got only the first two episodes of the new season. Can't wait for the rest.

Bokusatsu Tenshi Dokuro-chan tells the story of Sakura Kusakabe, a third-year junior high school student who sometime in the future is going to offend God by inadvertently inventing immortality. Women are affected so that they stop aging after the age of twelve and Sakura is accused of creating a "Pedophile's World". Dokuro Mitsukai, a member of an order of angel assassins that are called Rurutie, has been sent from the future to kill him. Believing that Sakura can be redeemed, Dokuro decides instead to keep Sakura so occupied that he can never develop the immortality technology. Due to her impulsive nature, however, she frequently kills him - with her gigantic spiked kanabō (club) she has named Excalibolg - on a moment's impulse, returning him to life moments later with angelic magic. Sabato, another assassin of the Rurutie order who uses her feminine wiles to do her jobs, is dispatched to complete Dokuro's original mission: Sakura's assassination.

This episode begins with Fujiyoshi bumping into Nozomu while she is on her way to make copies of her doujinshi for Comiket. Through a misunderstanding in which Nozomu thinks of doujinshi in the literary sense rather than in the manga/anime sense, Nozomu ends up going to Comiket to sell his doujin literature with mixed results. At Comiket, Chiri reads Fujiyoshi's yaoi doujinshi and admonishes her for not adhering to the 4-koma manga format, which she feels is the only one that is acceptable. Chiri forces Fujiyoshi to rewrite her manga in 4-koma format, while following the Kishotenketsu structure. On the way back from Comiket they meet Kafuka, who talks Chiri and Fujiyoshi into drawing more manga that strictly adheres to the above mentioned format. Maria tries to draw a 4-koma manga as well, but doesn't quite get it right. Nozomu introduces a fifth element to the Kishotenketsu structure, Yami (Darkness), which involves adding a fifth panel to the 4-koma manga containing a twist ending. The second half of the episode involves the girls at a matsuri, where overzealous festival-goers begin piling random objects and people on portable shrines and dancing and parading around with them.

Shinichi Chiaki is the top piano student at the Momogaoka College of Music and an excellent violinist, but Chiaki doesn't care about playing these instruments as much as he dreams of someday being a conductor. Chiaki, however, has several deeply rooted fears about traveling, and so finds himself "trapped" in Japan. Because he's trapped, Chiaki starts to question exactly how far he can possibly go in music, especially when he's passed over again and again by others he believes less worthy of musical scholarship and fame.

Recently dumped by his girlfriend for a "ham" looking fellow, passed over for a chance to go overseas, and removed from his star spot in the piano competition because he walked out on his piano instructor, Chiaki is at his limit. This is when he meets Nodame, or Megumi Noda. Nodame is a free — and filthy — spirit who reminds Chiaki that music can be fun and what drew him to be a conductor in the first place. In learning how to deal with Nodame, Chiaki learns how to deal with others. Chiaki begins to realize what is possible for him, even within the country of Japan.

For Nodame, Chiaki is everything she isn't. Clean, neat, dedicated, studious and inherently arrogant about his accomplishments and capabilities, Chiaki constantly bullies her into being more serious about life. He sees potential in her and her abilities as a pianist that she doesn't care about. She loves Chiaki and wants to be with him, but because she's not serious about her piano studies nor her personal hygiene, Chiaki always denies her affections.

Drawn together in a turbulent relationship, Chiaki's perfectionism and Nodame's untamed nature ends up complementing each other. As the story progresses, they mature as individuals, as musicians and as a couple.

With Rika promising she can get Satoko to promise to admit to being abused, the CCC calls Satoko's house. Her uncle stands behind her, reminding her that if she tells them anything, he will beat her, and then destroy Satoshi's room. However, Rika tells her that letting her uncle abuse her isn't strength, and that if she were really strong she would let everyone help her. Satoko finally admits to being abused, and her uncle is arrested. Rika tries to warn Tomitake and Takano that they will be killed on the night of the Watanagashi, but they ignore her. We find out that Tomitake was sent to Hinamizawa to prevent an outbreak of the disease that existed in the town long ago, while Takano was hired to stop him. She injects him with the syringe containing the disease, which makes him go crazy and tear his own throat out, much like keiichi did in the first arc, while Takano fakes her disappearance, leaving behind a corpse for people to find as her own.

Kafuka comes down with a cold during the summer and has to go see the doctor, Mikoto Itoshiki, who happens to be Nozomu's brother. Later, Chiri and Kafuka find out from Mikoto that Nozomu has gone back to his hometown in Kuraizawa for an arranged marriage. One way or another, the girls somehow all end up arriving at Kuraizawa, where they are taken to the Itoshiki residence by Tokita. Here they find out that the Itoshiki tradition for arranged marriages simply involves both parties exchanging eye contact. The rest of the episode involves Nozomu and his attempts to avoid eye contact with the girls and various other people/objects.

At the hospital Katherine speaks with Ayano and explains what Kirika meant when she said "Ayano was the only one who could bring Kazuma back." Ayano and Ren convine Jugo and Genma to let them try to bring Kazuma back after Genma states that he will kill Kazuma and Burnheart. Kirika accompanies them to the place where Pandemonium "is going to apppear in the physical world." When Pandemonium appears, Kirika leaves and Ayano and Ren encounter Kazuma. Kazuma tells Ayano and Ren that he is not trying to destroy Pandemonium because of Tsuo Rin but simply because he wants to kill Burnheart. Ayano summons the Enraiha and attacks Kazuma. She thinks about what she learned from Kazuma and unknowingly uses the Crimcon Flame. She manages to convince Kazuma to stop killing innocent people and the three set out to destroy Pandemonium.

Bleach: Memories of Nobody is an animated film, directed by Noriyuki Abe and written by Masashi Sogo. It debuted in Japanese theaters on December 16, 2006. It is set immediately after the Soul Society rescue arc, as Ichigo returns to the real world. This places it during the same time frame as the anime-only Bount arc.

In Karakura Town, unidentifiable spirits called "blanks" (vacant souls) begin appearing en masse. While attempting to deal with these strange souls, Ichigo Kurosaki and Rukia Kuchiki meet Senna, a mysterious shinigami who wipes out most of them fairly quickly. Senna is evasive about her squad assignment, so Ichigo is forced to follow her while Rukia tries to find out what's going on.

Meanwhile, in Soul Society, the real world is suddenly reflected in the sky, so Tōshirō Hitsugaya and Rangiku Matsumoto are sent to investigate. They meet up with Ichigo in the real world, who has lost track of Senna by this point. They discuss the events at the Urahara Shop, where Kisuke Urahara explains the reason for the strange occurrences. He explains that a soul caught between the two worlds is acting as a conduit, linking them together.

After finding Senna again, the two spent most of the evening together, with Senna being fascinated by just about everything in sight. However, she begins to remember when she died, and decides to visit her grave. There, she is attacked by a mysterious group of people wearing vaguely shinigami-like clothing and sporting odd weaponry. Senna is no match for them, but is rescued by Ichigo, who severs the arm of the one attacking Senna. The group then disappears without a trace.

Senna is eventually revealed to be this soul, and a fair amount of the Gotei 13 shows up to deal with the problem. Ichigo tries to defend Senna, but before either side can act, the mysterious group from before shows up. They identify themselves as the "Dark Ones" and set their sights on Senna once again. The many vacant souls wandering around fuel their abilities, making them almost impossible to stop. Despite Ichigo's efforts, they succeed in escaping with Senna.

In a mountainous area, Senna is attached to a strange device, which is fueled by the same vacant souls as the Dark Ones use. As the device powers up, it begins to form a gate with Senna at its core.

Unwilling to give up, Ichigo goes looking around town for her, eventually finding a massive portal sitting on the river. It leads to a strange mountainous region located between Soul Society and the real world. As he enters it, Rukia heads to Soul Society to get reinforcements. Ichigo is left facing the combined might of the Dark Ones, barely able to hold his own.

In Soul Society, Mayuri Kurotsuchi explains to the other captains that the Dark Ones are attempting to break down the barrier between Soul Society and the real world altogether, destroying both worlds. Steps are taken to seal the rift just as Rukia barges into their meeting, begging for help. However, she is turned down by General Yamamoto, and is only able to bring Renji Abarai back with her. At the portal, as Rukia and Renji prepare to enter to help Ichigo, Hitsugaya and Matsumoto appear to offer their help, as well.

Within the other dimension, Ichigo finds himself overpowered by the sheer number of vacant souls the Dark Ones have at their command. He is saved by the timely arrival of Kenpachi Zaraki, with Yachiru Kusajishi hanging from his back. Aside from Zaraki, Soifon, Izuru Kira, Byakuya Kuchiki, Tetsuzaemon Iba, Shūhei Hisagi, Ikkaku Madarame, and Yumichika Ayasegawa have also arrived to help. Along with the four that originally entered the portal, the group makes short work of most of the Dark Ones, leaving Ichigo to battle their leader. Though it takes Ichigo longer, he is victorious, as well.

Back in the real world, all the shinigami exit the portal with Ichigo carrying Senna. Despite having broken the device meant to break down the barrier between the worlds, the process is far enough along that it doesn't go away. As Senna is the initial reason behind it, she chooses to sacrifice herself to seal the portal. She survives doing so, and is taken to her grave by Ichigo so she can pass on properly.
